Doral Legacy Park

Doral Legacy Park is conceived as a place in which the community can gather to enjoy sports, cultural arts, and nature in a safe environment that is representative of the beautiful City of Doral. It provides the largest green space in the city, creating a new quality of life for its residents. The Park's spaciousness and location at the center of Doral provides opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy a large variety of activities. Doral Legacy Park has been designed with a unique combination of open space, recreational facilities, and public spaces that will provide an optimal experience by featuring practical facilities that offer a wealth of activities and services for people of all age groups and cultures.

Doral Legacy Park is an 18-acre recreational park with a two-story 38,280 S.F. LEED Silver recreation facility that will offer the City of Doral with a dynamic social and active area that promotes community development while respecting the limits of the surrounding residential neighbourhoods.

One of the most challenging circumstances on the site is the park, which is separated into two unequal portions by a city roadway. To take advantage of this possible issue, a covered pedestrian bridge was developed as both an active and passive method. The bridge stretches from the recreation center and provides a secure crossing above a busy city street. It also serves as a city entrance, defining the city's northern limit.

The leisure program offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor options for active and passive recreational activities for people of all ages.

The recreation center includes:

• aerobics/dance room
