Doral Glades Park

Doral Glades Park is envisioned as a gathering place for the community to appreciate nature in a safe setting that is symbolic of the lovely City of Doral. This park, which covers approximately 25 acres, is located on NW 74th Street between NW 97th Avenue and NW 107th Avenue.

Doral Glades Park, one of the area's newest outdoor leisure areas, inaugurated in the summer of 2019. Doral Glades Park, located on 25 expansive acres in the neighborhood of Doral in northern Miami-Dade County, is alive with animals. The park features a natural preserve, a big lake, and sports facilities such as a sand volleyball field, two tennis courts, and a basketball court, making it perfect for families seeking to enjoy outdoor activities in a safe setting.

Wildlife

There are several opportunities to explore this unique natural habitat firsthand, all with the goal of highlighting the rich ecology that surrounds Doral. Take a stroll with your family along the lake's picturesque illuminated boardwalk and pier, which provides direct access to the wetlands. Along the mangrove shoreline, look for herons, egrets, and other wading birds. You may also launch kayaks to explore the shallow waters, or toss a line at the fishing pier and see what you catch. The park also has a nature-themed playground with a slide beneath a covered canopy for families with younger children.

Family Fun

While the indoor nature center and its interactive displays are presently closed due to local health standards, the park's lake and sports facilities provide plenty of safe outside activities. Enjoy a lunch beneath the outdoor pavilions (which may be rented), play tennis or sand volleyball, or stroll along the picturesque boardwalk. Doral Glades Park, located in a family-friendly Miami suburb, is an excellent outdoor location for anybody traveling with children who have extra energy to burn – and they can do so while communing with nature in a lovely environment.
